Germany is an up and coming rugby nation and there is an abundance of clubs who are of a good standard and keen to welcome touring sides for a competitive game of rugby.
Rugby in Germany is centered on Heidelberg and Hanover, these two busy areas are the strong hold of German rugby with no less than 16 national and regional clubs between them, as well as numerous school teams.
Heidelberg is a university town with a young atmosphere, there are endless cafes and bars and excellent shopping. It is also one of the main centres for teaching rugby in schools, meaning that there are fixtures available for all age groups.
